NY Transco is a joint venture developing major electric transmission infrastructure across New York State. The company needed a digital presence that communicated the scale and significance of their projects to regulators, stakeholders, and the public — translating complex infrastructure work into accessible, trust-building content.
// THE CHALLENGE
Energy infrastructure companies operate in a highly regulated, high-scrutiny environment where credibility is everything. The website needed to serve multiple audiences simultaneously — regulatory bodies, potential partners, affected communities, and the press — while maintaining a consistent tone of authority and transparency.

STAKEHOLDER MAPPING
Identified primary and secondary audience needs. Regulators needed project documentation and compliance information. Communities needed impact and benefit communication. Press needed downloadable assets and contact access.
VISUAL DIRECTION
Developed a visual system that balanced corporate authority with accessibility. Clean grid layouts, infrastructure photography, and a restrained color palette communicated stability and scale without feeling impenetrable.
DESIGN
Designed the full site layout with clear content hierarchy, project map integration, and a news/media section supporting ongoing stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
